One of the things I think a lot of us have come to realize in the last year, is that scaling things down has a lot of benefits. Not having to prepare huge feasts and parties for every occasion can immensely reduce stress. Not to say, that it isn’t fun and can be very rewarding to plan and prepare large events, however, I believe a lot of us have realized that it isn’t always necessary. When we have our own stresses and are trying to just deal with life, the social pressure that we need to do things in a certain way can be an extra burden that ends up turning what should be a fun today, into a strain.
