Mama’s Day! And although I’m not completely on-board with the Hallmark-hijacked-holiday as far as its main incentive being consumerism. The original creation of the holiday was with good intent, and any excuse to appreciate our amazing mothers is okay with me.
I have gone about making two editions for “Mothers Day Gift Ideas”
One being for those who would rather support and purchase something handmade by somebody else (Etsy Edition). And one being for those who would rather do the handmaking by themselves (DIY Edition).

I don’t know about you, by my mom LOVES old teacups and has a lot that she has saved to pass on to me. Myself (being the type of person who moves every 6 months), I don’t really have the backpack space for these teacups… This is a great idea to put those beautifully decorated pieces to use by letting them be homes to herbs.

YES! These are a hoot! (I’d like to dedicate that lame joke to my mom). It’s possible you have all these materials lying around at home just waiting to be upcycled, but if not, head down to your local thrift store and I’m sure you’ll find them in no time! Just in time for Spring <3

I belong to the group that would rather purchase a gift but I confess that I will attempt the tea cup garden even in my own home. What a lovely idea! Love the Etsy suggestions. I think about my mom and I know she would like most of them. Great recommendations.
